Lumia 830 and DNG???

I'm looking for info on the 830. Does it shoot DNG? What resolution? Do you need Update 1?

I've got one of these coming slow post. It is the ATT variant. I really like the flexibility of DNG so I'm hoping they have or will enable it...

Yes it does shoot 9 MP DNG in 4:3 while 8 MP in 16:9. You won't need Update 1 but the latest post Denim firmware update, the OS on varies from 14219 and upwards but not Update 1 (though I have it due to recent glitch from MS). The AT&T version hasn't received the firmware update yet so you won't be able to shoot in DNG nor get the latest Lumia Camera 5

So I'm wondering if P4D would advance my OS version enough to let me into Lumia Camera 5?

I know it really is "full Denim" that is the right phrase I probably should have used, I just assumed Update 1 would be more readily understood.

Not really, its not the OS but the firmware that brings the Camera goodness, at least in this case

LOL... I'm not surprised. ATT owes me an OTA for a 520, a 635, and soon an 830. Thankfully my 1520 is Factory Unlocked. My 928 got Update 1 + Denim. SMH.
