Lumia 920 bug. Phone still 'charging', even when unplugged. WTF.

I have had this issue for months and restarted every time I came across it. I just now started to attempt to resolve it and I believe I have done so. I am out of warranty so I figured I'd open it up and take a look. Last night, I disconnected the battery (lifted the heat sink first) for about 20 seconds, snapped it back in and fired everything up. So far so good. I'll update everyone in the thread in the next few days as to whether this really did fix the problem.

Finally found the cause of the issue:
In my case the issue (charging occurrence when unplugged) has been caused by older nokia car charger, which is incompatible with Lumia 920 phone. When I stopped using car charger, the issue has gone and never occurred again in the last month.
