Hi all

I have a Lumia 920, and i really, really liked a lot, Lumia 925. I know that L925 offers only 16Gb and there's no wireless charging, but...i think the pros are better than the cons:

- Design
- Weight
- Camera

May i change it OR picking 925 as 2nd phone?

I have the 920, and I see no point in upgrading to a 925. I've been looking for a replacement, but have yet to find anything beside the 1520. I'm gona wait until the 1520 gets 32 GB internal. Then I might retire the 920.

I dropped and smashed my 920 so claimed on my insurance and purchased the 925.
It does feel far less bulky in your pocket and looks far more sleeker, it was a worth while upgrade imho.
Battery life is highly dependant on light or heavy usage, playing games, surfing the net on wi-fi does drain the battery pretty rapidly.
I get 3-4hrs on constant heavy usage, and up to a couple of days just making a few calls and sending a dozen or so txt messages.

My 920 also broke, and I also switched to the 925. Here are my experiences:

I miss wireless charging but it is definitely no big deal. The 16 GB, I'm doing just fine with. I installed all of my apps and put some music on my phone and I still have 9 GB left. But that all depends on your usage. If you store a lot of music (I only have like 20 songs downloaded) and take lots of pictures, then 16 might be pushing it. The design and thinness of the 925 is AMAZING. I love it... but sadly, I had to slap a case on this phone to avoid what happened to my 920. If you go caseless, be VERY careful because it does seem like a fragile device. But it's beautiful and pocketable! With the camera, I did not notice a huge improvement over the 920, but it is a very nice camera. I prefer the LCD screen of the 920 to the AMOLED of the 925, but it's still a great display. Battery life is about the same between the two devices, for me.

Overall, I really like the 925. If T-Mobile had a Lumia 1520 variant announced at Nokia World I would have bought that instead, but I am not switching to AT&T. This is just a transition device for me... I wouldn't say it's an upgrade, and I don't think it's worth the upgrade from the 920 (unless your 920 broke like mind did, then it's great!). But if you REALLY like it then go for it :)

So.. my gf actually showed an interest in a smartphone and I went to ATT to see what all WPs they have. I previously had not done anything w/the 920 or 925, so I went to phonearena to compare them.

Is it just me, or do the specs of the 920 beat the 925? What is the benefit of getting the 925?? They both have almost identical hardware, but the 925 seems lighted, and the 920 has WAY more storage... so why would you get the 925? Who is that phone for?

The Lumia 925 can be had with 32GB of storage, just get an unlocked Vodaphone Germany or Vodaphone UK version. (That's what I did.) However, I wouldn't upgrade from the 920 to the 925, they are too similar. I would go with a 1520, the 1020, or the 929 (Verizon LTE phones are sold unlocked). Again in the case of at least the 1520 and the 1020, I would never buy the AT&T version... I'd get the 1020 w/64GBs of storage for sale in Germany, Brazil, or perhaps the UK, and any version of the 1520 that comes with 32GBs or more and wireless charging built-in.
