Lumia 920 GDR2 + Amber = flakey wireless charging?

Can anyone using wireless plates confirm if after force updating their 920, its been flakey?

My phone now connects-disconnects-connects-disconnects x 20 and then has finally a stable wireless connection if it feels like. I have a UK phone, French Firmware.

I noticed that mine doesn't make the same noise / light-up when I put it on the charging plate (US ATT Phone w/ french amber firmware). It did charge to 100% overnight though.

Mine charges fine but felt a lot slower so I have been observing it today and I can see that white light go blink blink..... blink.. blink blink..... blink blink..... blink blink..... blink blink..... blink blink..... blink blink.....bliiiiiiiiiiink.. then steady!

COMPLETELY and unashamedly off topic but any chance that GDR2 has made the WPLogo a notification light? I know that once you run the battery completely empty and plug it into the mains the WPLogo will blink but wondered if you can make it a notification light on GDR2. Come on Rockstarzzz spread some good news for me!?

I just switched off Double tap to wake up phone and Glance.
The problem seems to be gone ...

COMPLETELY and unashamedly off topic but any chance that GDR2 has made the WPLogo a notification light? I know that once you run the battery completely empty and plug it into the mains the WPLogo will blink but wondered if you can make it a notification light on GDR2. Come on Rockstarzzz spread some good news for me!?

I doubt it is a notification light, it behaves so normally! I don't ever let my battery run below 50% unless I am travelling. At home I have a wireless charging pillow and at work I have a wireless charger so my Lumia is always juiced up! I will keep staring at my phone to see if a notification blinks my Windows logo. I bet it will just light all three of them up long with my phone screen!

Heh, thought this might just be me. But yeah I have the same issue - 920, GDR2 & Amber on the French ROM in the UK and wireless charging is a bit off, nothing major though.

Has anyone found a definitive workaround? I'm trying turning off double-tap now, but I won't know for sure until it reaches full charge in a few hours.
