Lumia 920 Unlock Question.

I have the Lumia 920 on AT&T. I'm getting it unlocked because I'm going to give the phone to a friend in Brazil. My question is this: when phone updates come, does she have to send it back to me for updates, or can she still be able to update it down in Brazil on her carrier which does support the L920? What options are there?

The updates, once released by AT&T, will be available for the device everywhere. You don't have to be in the same country. I don't understand entirely the whole legality of unlocking phones, but as long as it is unlocked, and the Brazilian carrier supports the specific frequency bands, there should be no problems using it.
