So my mother spazzed the heck out in the snow storm here and for whatever threw her phone to the ground lol...and broke it.

So she is going to have to get it a new phone aka add a new line to our account.

Tbh, I am trying to get her off the android train officially :P She's dabbled with other OSes including windows phone but she has predominantly used Android. I want to get her off the train simply because

1. It's annoying when she is asking me how to work somehting or fix this issue and I am not familiar with Android and it would be EASIER for me to get her on to windows phone as i can better handle and understand things without needing to go search what this means or how to turn this on or off.

2. I just don't like android :D

With that said, Those of you using the 925 on Att...How is it the device working out?
Are there any known issues for you all? I am trying to push her towards this device or the 1020 at 99 dollars...But who knows. Of course if she flat out says no to windows phone, at last resort i'll push her to an iphone 5c :P

I have a Lumia 925 and absolutely love the form factor. It is not too heavy, the size is nice and the camera is awesome (as usual). I also like how the micro USB and headphone jack are on the same end of the device. I have not had any issues with my device (though right now I'm using the Lumia 1520). If your mom is not a mad media storage person, the 925 will serve well with its 16GB of storage. Otherwise, I'd push the 1020 or even the 920 for the extra storage. The 920 is pretty affordable now.

I was going to suggest the 920 but given how thick it is, I don't think it'll work well :P Coming from a 920 to a 1020 to a 1520, I can definitely agree that phone was a little too thick :P

Good to hear you had no issues though! the 925 was Daniel's top recommended phone last year so hopefully i can get her on that one :P

I absolutely love mine. Had it for 2 months now. And I am not a big phone person either, but I find myself using it more that any of my past phones combined.
