Lumia 925 stuck on Preview Build 10536

Hi, I've been using a Lumia 925 on Win 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10536 that doesn't find any further upgrades.

Even when I go and reregister to the fast ring in the Windows Insider app, it won't find any updates.

So, I wanted to rollback to 8.1. Unfortunately the Windows Device Recovery Tool doesn't seem to be able to flash the device at all. It identifies the available software version, starts the flashing process, the phone restarts and I get an error message.

Can anyone give me an idea of what could be done to recover this device and start the preview programme over again from scratch?

Since you'd be losing your data anyways, you could try doing a hard reset back to factory settings, then try using the Windows Device Recovery Tool.

Other than that you may have to wait until the next insider version as it sounds like that one might let 10536 upgrade to it.

10536 was not anyway getting you to 10549 if you read the articles about it. You are on WPR Tool to get to 10549 if you are on any preview build currently.
