Lumia 928 only ran one update!

Friend's Lumia 928 ran the first update fine, but that was the only update he received. Now he checks phone update in settings and it says it is up to date? And it is not 8.1??? Any help?

Soft reset first and see if that helps any.

Yeah, he has tried soft resetting multiple times with no luck. He said he is going to try recovering through the Nokia recovery suite and work his way up to the 8.1 update. ....... Hopefully.

I noticed that this update 8.1 Blue (Cyan) showed available on my Lumia 928 on 4/16. It appeared to download but doesn't show as applied. I've cycled the power on my phone but also still have version 8.0 Black. When I check for updates my phone shows as current. Do you know if this was just a glitch/mistake (maybe not really released)? Have existing Lumia users (other than Devs) received the 8.1 update? Thx in advance for any feedback!!

I think this is one of the phones that MS mentioned that do not proceed to update to 8.1

I have 928 running 8.1

As everybody else I first installed some update. Then it said 8.1 is available and ready to download. 8.1s installation took only 17 min for me

Upd: My OneDrive isn't working I can download From it, but not upload To it

Thanks! Good to know. From what I can tell the update worked for some 928's and not for others. I will try to be patient .
