Lumia 930 Denim Thread

New 930 (Green RM-1045) from Amazon US arrives tomorrow. I’m looking at all the posts related to Denim and see many great ideas to help prevent or resolve some of the problems many have experienced with the 930. Assuming my new 930 country variant has the full Denim update available, my plan is as follows to set up the phone. Please critique…

Power up phone, sign into Microsoft account, do basic setup, etc.
Don’t restore from a backup (Hard Reset planned after Denim Update installs)
Don’t install Developer Preview
Run all updates until none left
Hard reset phone after last update complete
When phone comes back up from hard reset, restore backup from Lumia 830
Install/Sign in to Developer Preview

It looks like many are suggesting a hard reset after installing Denim but I didn’t see anyone mention hard resetting after each update that might come in prior to the final update so I’m assuming just doing the hard reset at the end if there is more than one update is sufficient. Correct?

Still not sure if I should restore from the backup after the hard reset or start over and reload everything. Its way easier to restore but I’ll start over if that will help prevent any issues.

Do you have to do anything specific to get this update. Phone is on o2 in the UK on the latest windows 10 build but my 930 is still on cyan not denim?
