Lumia 950 doesn't downscale pics for email. Need help with imaging app choice

Lots of times the frustration can be tamed with a little searching around.

I have spent many, many hours searching for answers. Sometimes the solutions are NEVER found!
Sloppy, poorly documented coding, lousy menus with hidden settings can cause insurmountable hurdles.
However, I have to admit that if one can properly phrase the question, a ****load of information can and has been found by me on this site!

The reason I ask about the really small images is are they thumbnails, once they are down to that size and sent you cant then make the image bigger without it becoming totally distorted, if your sending for someone else to view then really small might not be good enough? Then again it might be ok?

They are down to that size. But that's why you get the three size options (one being dynamic, the "fit" one) so that you can set them to whatever size you want.
