Lumia 950 - email notification stuck on my lock screen and live tile. What can I do?

Lumia 950 - email notification stuck on my lock screen and live tile.

I have just purchased a Lumia 950. Amongs the many bugs I am trying to deal with, this is currently the most frustrating as it is affecting my work email notifications.

I currently have an old email notification stuck on my lock screen, and also on the live tile. I have deleted the email, refreshed the account, restarted the phone.

Both lock screen and live tile now no longer show new mail.

Will these phones be getting regular updates?

Weird I am having a similar issue. I was able to get the live tile working but my lock screen still shows I have email. I have done everything you have with no luck.

Yes they should be getting monthly updates now.

once had this issue until someone (Pete by name) here helped me fix it.

Unpin the tile, open mail from app list then pin the inbox (by tapping on the 3 dots and selecting pin to start) If you have more than one mail, you may have to do this for all of them.

once had this issue until someone (Pete by name) here helped me fix it.

Thanks, had this issue today and that did the trick. At first tried pinning Outlook app, but then this reminded me I pinned the specific account.

I'm having this bug. Just solve the tile part but the lockscreen its bugging me whole week with stuck emails notifications.
