Lumia 950XL high contrast mode issue

Hi all,
The high contract mode on my old 920 basically turned everything black and white, including the start menu.
However on the 950XL, when I click high contrast mode the tiles on the start menu become a solid grey block with no writing on them or anything? How can I make it like the 920 where the tiles are black and the font is white.
I have pictures to explain further if needs be.

try to get a contrast lower than the maximum. And does the colour scheme affect this? There's 2 themese, right? Light and dark?
