Lumia 950XL Latest Build - NO Camera on Skype!

Hello guys!

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news! I love Windows Mobile (duh) but on my Lumi 950XL - the front facing/Rear Camera isn't working ONLY while using Skype!

Both the cameras are working fine independently.

But on Skype, it just won't read.

Here's what I have done so far to make it work:

1. Check the App permissions
2. (Within Skype app) Default Camera under Audio/Video settings
3. Camera Settings - Check which app will use this service

Am I missing something?

To be honest, it's the Skype app that needs to be updated and the mobile app hasn't been updated to even support the return of proper presense controls like the desktop client has been.

Many of us are facing this issue no exact solution is there for the problem as soon I will get any update I will share

I found that if you rotate the screen, the camera then works. You can rotate it back to the original position and it will keep on working too.

Unfortunately, this is a dying platform, I have no hope that anything will be fixed anymore, so it's time to move on.

Skype cameras work fine on both my 950xl;s on latest build . I always hold them in landscape orientation to get the best view when using Skype video calls.
