Hi!
So I bought My Lumia 950XL few days after it was released back in December. From day one it had Wi-Fi issues (although at beginning it happened only once a week or so, and since OS was buggy as whole, I didn?t pay as much intention to it). While connected to Wi-Fi, phone suddenly just dropped connection and couldn't connect to this or any other Wi-Fi network (because it just didn't find any - No Connections available, although there were plenty), only restart could fix this matter, however in time (it could be hours or it could be days) same problem reoccurred again and again.
In late January I bought phone to service for the first time, after a week it was returned - service said that there are no problems with this phone whatsoever. In the same day problem reoccurred, this time I shot few videos to prove that there is something wrong with phone and two weeks later brought phone to service once again. In two weeks service was complete - this time they acknowledged that phone was faulty and had changed the system board. Ok, so things should be fine now, eh? Not really - next morning first thing I notice on the phone - No Connections Available...right! So in the same day I went back to service centre and asked for refund - apparently they don't give those anymore, but offered a new phone in exchange - same Lumia 950XL or any other phone in same price range or lower (S6, iPhone SE, Mate 8S etc.). As all of those phone were cheaper, I choose to get a new Lumia 950XL. This time I didn?t even use it - I turned it on, connected to Wifi to see if this time I can finally use this goddomn phone. No such luck - while for 5 days or so, everything was normal, this morning same error once again - No Connections Available. Well, isn't that just great?
So anyone else experienced this problem? I read topics back in December were people had the same issue, but apparently it was OS bug. So if it was, then why 5 months later, after plenty of updates, it is still there? If Microsoft knew that this is software bug and not a faulty hardware - why did they change the system board (Apparently second time phone was changed by store itself, not Microsoft) knowing that it won't fix anything? If this is because of faulty hardware - how it possible that it happens with 3 phones in a row?
As for the Wi-Fi - problem occurred in different places with different connections and no issues were ever noticed with other phones / tablets / notebooks with those Wi-Fi networks.
