I've been using Black on my 920 for sometime now.. No specific issues yet. But I fear the DTTW will reduce battery life, but not substantially.

Lumia Black Update is available for Lumia 520 in India. I myself updated my bro's cell yesterday...!!

I think its gonna come at midnight for sure, btw I just wanna ask, my brother is thinking of buying a 525 and he is not a gamer, I hope that model will update to 8.1 atleast.

All WP8 phone will get WP 8.1. And yes, even if he's not a gamer, the 525 is worth that extra 512MB Ram. So go for it.
