Lumia camera crashing: how to fix it?

My spouse's 635's Lumia camera app is crashing on launch. Restart doesn't fix it. Regular camera works fine.

Anyone else hitting this?

Have you tried re-installing the app? This worked for me when I couldn't open my Lumia Camera in my L1020.

Tried the uninstall-reinstall and that didn't fix it. At that point I decided to check for a phone update, and there was one. By the way, Denim is available for Lumia 635 on Koodo Mobile (Telus) in Canada.

Tried launching after the update and got a message that it wouldn't launch, but I should check the store for an update. No dice, as the version numbers matched. Tried an uninstall-reinstall then, and that got it working.
