Lumia Icon Low End Replacement

I shattered my screen on the lumia icon for Verizon (Still Under Contract). The screen is black now and I cannot use the phone. I can still make calls, send tests by using the voice commands with Cortana. Since Win 10 phones are coming out soon, I wanted to know which low end windows phone can I buy that works with Verizon's LTE bands so I wont have any issues. Any suggestions?

Get a used one on ebay or even look for a used verizon M8, Samsung Ativ SE. Probably your best bet pending on how much you want to spend. But you could pick up another Icon on the bay for $100 to $200 in great shape....lots to choose from lately on eBay.

The Ativ SE is rather old and probably won't get W10M. The M8 will probably get it; it's still fairly new. The 735 is rather new and most likely will get W10M as well. The Lancet may get it as well.

As the release of W10M nears, we'll know more about which phones will get it and what new phones are going to be released this fall.

I do replacements time to time for some extra cash, I had a few LG G2's, that was said is a really hard one to replace, so I would grab broken display ones on ebay for under $50, fix(for about $50-60) and get $200+ for them... When they were newer...

I looked up to see if I can do this with an ICON, very complex and expensive to replace. The screen alone is something like $175 last Looked.

Best bet, Get a used on they BAY and make sure it's got a clean ESN so you can just swap your SIM... For the price of a low end newer phone, you can get used ICON. Just watch ebay and you'll see some cheap (check every morning and sort by newly listed)

I purchased the Lumia 735 for my daughter. It is a great phone.

If your concerned about upgrade capability to Windows 10 I'd second the Lumia 735. Or a used Icon. My wife has the 735 and is quite happy with it.

Check swappa.com for used Icon, 928 or ATIV SE. I buy lots of phones from that site and have been pretty happy.
