Lumia phone numbering hinting at two-tiered phone range...?

I've just read about the possibility of a Lumia 825 which prompted me to consider the wider picture of the whole Lumia range.

I wondered whether Nokia are beginning to differentiate the Lumia models according to even and odd numbers? If the 825 is true, it could be argued that even numbered models are the 'upper' tier with single, stand out features and the odd numbered phones are the 'lower' tier?

625 has a 4.7" screen
825 might have hi-res screen or quad core chipset?
1020 has stunning camera

520 is amazing spec for the price point
720 is good value mid-range 'all rounder'
920 is capable high-end phone good at many things, but not necessarily a stand out feature

This is just an idea and I'm only speculating, but it seems an interesting possibility...

I've always thought that the **5 range should be kind of like how Apple have their *S phones.
Not entirely new models, just higher spec.

You may well be right, but that can be applied to all of their phones. It would be possible to have 102X, 92X, 82X, 72X etc., with a sort of half-life spec bump. The number at the front though sets the model range and I wondered whether a pattern is emerging?
