Lumia phones-built with at least one defect

Once again, I'm making clear that I'm expressing my views only on mid range and high end.i don't bother about the low end devices. Our prime features are spread over different Lumias. We need all together to make a prime, high end phone.

I think the most perfect phone at the launch was Lumia 920. Had everything any other phone could even imagine. Pureview camera and OIS, those impressive low light capabilities in photos and videos, 60 Hz screen for smoother scrolling, 3 HAAC mics for rich audio recording, wireless charging, super sensitive touch screen which can be used with nails as well as gloves. It even later got glance and double tap. I think, really a perfect phone and unchallenged king of it's time! Though there was no SD card slot, but I think that was for a reason. Lower class memory cards can really slow down the performance of playing music or videos, or recording videos directly to SD card. And I think 32 GB was enough at that time. Also, we can't forget the differentiating colors it came with. I think it showed such a beautiful and smart wave of phones to the smartphone world. That was game changing and something to really excite for. Nothing such happened with 930 or this 830.

The 920 had a glaring shortcoming, it weighed nearly 200g and for the puny tech world was too damned heavy

Yep. It's a shortcoming.i meant to say that they build every Lumia with a shortcoming.
920-no SD card
820,720-512mb RAM
930-no glance screen,no SD card
1520-should have been a 5" phone
830-1 MP front facing camera
730-no glance screen

The 820 has 1gb ram. The problem for some people was the battery life and maybe a not so great camera or a too low screen resolution.

I actually agree somewhat with this sentiment.

Nokia was always great at innovation, terrible at execution. I still appreciate the hardware they've launched over the years, but I was never convinced to buy any due to there always being one or two major shortcomings not found in the competitors phones.

I see no reason for seeing the 1520's 6" screen as a shortcoming. It suits some people, those who prefer larger screens.
