lumia video (file)formats compatible with DVD players?

ive taken some videos with my L620 and i want to transfer or burn them to a blank DVD disc

my question is, will the DVD player be able to read or recognize it?
or do i have to convert these lumia video files to something else? thanks!

Some can read arbitrary "computer" file formats like AVI, MP4 etc. Only way to guarantee is to master a DVD using tools like ConvertXtoDVD.

i think my L620's video uses mp4 formats
are there different kinds of mp4?

Yes, MP4 will be read by your DVD player.
