Macro?

I've found the phone to be far more difficult to get great detail from macro shots compared to my Lumia 900. Granted I've not played with it more than a day but its almost as if i can see the detail blur out a moment after Nokia pro camera opens the picture. Not horribly but enough to give me a shot im not all that impressed with.

I got some great macro shots. You need to definitely use the manual focus though. I had trouble getting it to auto focus when any close than 6 inches. I could get down to 4 or 5 inches focused with manual. Got some great shots. Add in that range, plus the ability to zoom in and you get some amazing details. Not sure what you guys are talking about.

User Error On my part :D

I took this with my 928 on a walk in Centennial Park Maryland with the stock photo app. No filter/app and not in close-up mode. I did have to try 2 times before I got this shot but I like how it turned out. now that I have the new OS update and the Nokia App I will try macro shots again.

Nice shot! Using the manual focus you can get really close and get excellent shots. Keep experimenting!

Since the desired distance to get crisp focus is 15cms, I zoom as required (most of the time full zoom) n then focus to get the snap. Else use a macro lens placing it over. Works well
