Hello

The Mail & Calendar, just stopped working.
No more notifications, can't send(create) or receive msg's, can't create accounts, can only delete accounts. The app opens, but that's all after that.
The calendar app, also can't do anything with that.

All settings look to be fine, no changes, verified settings from another phone that's working.

No amount of soft resetting helps.

Any idea or thoughts on how to fix, without hard resetting.

thx!

Hi and welcome to Windows Central.

What device do you have, and what version of Windows 10 Mobile is it running?

Version: 1607

Hmm have you tried checking the store for any updates? I recall seeing that the mail and calendar had an update somewhat recently.

i did, and still no resolution.
This is the second time, the app stopped working. It required a hard reset to fix the issue, where no links would open, from within the app.
hard resetting every cpl of months, on my main phone, is ridiculous.

thx!

it's no fun, and it's only getting worse, now no sms notification.

looks like no choice, hard reset :(

fixed the sms notifications. turned it of then on, soft reset, and was okay again.

no fix for the mail/calender app

@terra

wow that's weird... when I find something off I tend to wait and see if it'll settle out on it's own.

In regards to notifications, in the past, I've found when had trouble, shut down and restart OR a soft reset (power button, volume button hold) helped

I also didn't like 143393.693 the very short time I had it and much happier with 726 that's still only on release preview. i did noticed notification issues while briefly on 693.

I have a 950XL.

i usually do the same things, but no luck lately.

i haven't decided yet, if i do a hard reset, or switch to an insider release preview.
as you mentioned 693 does have issues with notifications.

i'll play around on the weekend
