Major Phone Issues on Touch

My Touch keeps loosing the phone-side of the device. I'll be on a call and all of a sudden the phone call cuts off. When I redial, I get nothing in the receiver/earpiece but I'm told from the person I'm calling back that the call goes through, but they don't hear me. I just can't hear anyone or anything. Only a soft reset solves the problem. Anyone else having this problem?

I have 3 touches in the family and have never had this issue.

could be some third party software if you've installed any.
