Mango camera question

My phone HTC Surround has a broken camera button. Ive been looking forward to Mango for the "tap screen to take picture" feature. I updated yesterday and it works great for taking pictures and for 3rd party apps that use the camera (handyscan, shopsavvy, tag reader, etc). However I have been unable to use the Video Camera on the phone. Does anyone know of a way to enable "tap screen to record"? Or is there an app that will enable this feature?

Wow I didnt even think of that. I looked and tried with my HD7 but no luck. It appears the button is the only way. I havent heard anything about any update for that coming out.

If you're paying for the insurance you may be able to get a new Surround (well used probably) so you won't have to deal with a broke camera button.
