Maps for biking and tracking

I have Nokia maps installed. How can I track a biking or walking tour using this or any other app on Windows phone? I need something to store my trips and to provide data?
Also I wonder how to make Nokia maps work for cycling? Where can I get cycling paths?
Also, I am in Sardinia right now, Nokia map for this region is cap, Google maps is a thousand times better.
My colleagues have Android devices and they run very smooth when it comes to GPS functions.

I have tried all of them. Each has pluses bad minuses depending upon your wants and needs.

I find OutdoorMaps is good. (On Windows Phone and Windows 8).
