Market never shows updated reviews?

When reading reviews on apps in market they always show from 2014 I rarely see a review from this year, is it just me? Has no one reviewed apps in 2015? What's going on?

Tap the blue text that says 'most helpful' and your will have more options

It would be nice if it could default to most recent because old reviews might refer to older update which may no longer be relevant.

It posts which version the review was about, so there is no confusion.
