Hey gang!! Just a real quick note to be sure we are all on the same page when it comes to enforcing marketplace listings. I try to watch this part of the forum as much as I can, and when I come across something not following the rules, I usually do the following:
1) Verify the type of violation. Let's just say that all forum rules are being followed but there is an easy to fix piece of information missing (maybe no carrier, no pictures, something to that effect). I will PM them, ask it to be fixed, and give them 24 hours or so to get it corrected. If not corrected, I will delete and PM again.
2) If it is a more major violation (not following the forum template, it is an Android, BB, or iOS device for sale not trade, such as that), I will see if the seller is online. If online, I will PM and give the user a few hours to correct it. If not online or the PM does not get a response, I will delete and PM afterwards.
3) If it is a blatant rules violation (EBay links, a first or new poster, ignoring the template completely), I will just delete it and PM afterwards.
Overall, I haven't had to delete too many. Most posters will correct mistakes as quick as they can, apologizing as they do. I just wanted to throw this out there and be sure everyone is good with this.
If not, please put down the pitchforks. I can change, I promise....
