Me/pinned contact live tile 8.1

Is there some kind of setting to activate this or is it gone in 8.1?

No nota that. The me and pinned contact used to be live tiles prior to 8.1, Now they don't flip over and show notifications from twitter or facebook. Was trying to find out if its somewhere in the settings now.

Hmm that's strange. My pinned contacts flip to show new posts for facebook and twitter. I'm not sure of any settings that you could check out.
