memory card problem

when i update to preview version of windows 8.1, after successful installation, my memory card only shows in files app but not in storage sense and phone storage, it shows "sd card not found"

when i update to preview version of windows 8.1, after successful installation, my memory card only shows in files app but not in storage sense and phone storage, it shows "sd card not found"

- Shut the phone OFF
- remove the card
- power the phone ON
- remove SDcard tray & insert the card, insert card tray into phone
- the phone should recognize the card & start indexing the contents

IF this doesn't work
- copy contents of card to phone (if you have enough storage - if limited copy APPS to phone & other media to PC, laptop, tablet)
- insert card & format on the phone (this will remove everything from SDcard)
- transfer one APP to the card from phone in Storage Sense (to determine if this will work)

IF this works, follow normal protocol to remove card, copy data to card (from PC, etc) & re-insert card (indexing will occur)
IF this doesn't work, may be your install (of WP8.1 Dev Preview) or the device ...
