Messaging Bug 8.1 Preview for Developers Update

Updated my Lumia 925 to the newest 8.1 preview update. Now I can't enter in more then one word in the messaging app. Also the phone gets hot when I am using the messaging app. Anyone know how to fix this?

people are probably gonna suggest soft reset and if it doesnt work a hard reset

Yeah I know, I really don't want to do a hard reset, but I can't wait a month for the next update...

Well its obviously not working properly so you should try a soft reset. Have you?

Tried the soft reset several times, same problem continues

Then do a hard reset. Just back up your stuff and do it...

dude even am facing the same problem regarding messeging i cant type more than one word ..... any suggesitions i tried soft reset several times even tried unistalling keyboards nd reinstalling them....any idea how to make it work i dont wanna hard reset it....

Try using the voice icon in the messaging app also try copy and paste...i mean type the message some where else and paste it in messaging app...also you can use third party apps which use the default messaging plans from your operator to send sms......
