Messaging + Skype, how to reinstall on Win10Mobile

HI, I uninstalled the Messaging+Skype app yesterday because it was acting up and I just wanted to re-install the app....but the store keeps telling me...even a day later that the app is still installed.... how do i get it back or get around this message...so frustrating. The store should recognize that the app is no longer on my phone....Anything i can do in this case??

I just uninstalled it by going to the app list and hitting uninstall....that was it...it was gone...but then i went to the store....searched for the app Messaging + Skype...I find it...but when i try to re install it says that its already installed. At one point you used to be able to go to the windows phone store and reinstall an app...but I do not think this is possible anymore. I tried. I only uninstalled it because i could not get the dictation in texts to work...you know when you talk your texts instead of typing?? that feature seems to be gone with the latest insider build....that just came out yesterday but i thought it had something to do with the Skype and messaging app so I uninstalled it....now when i try to re install it say that the app is already installed but i uninstalled it yesterday

Soft reset (power + volume down until the phone vibrates) then try again? I had to do that a couple times when reinstalling other apps.

thank you so much for the excellent advice, I tried that unfortunately...it didn't work...it still shows that the app is installed on the phone....its so frustrating....I cant even think of what else to try

Hard reset will surely fix

i have never hard reset my phone...i am a little afraid to do it...although i have backed up everything...i am just afraid that I will loose something.... Its unfortunate that this would be the only answer.....to hard reset
