But if u change your region to Germany you are able to install runs ok for the most part just crashes a bit on my 640 XL

Seems the Windows 10 Mobile Facebook Messenger app is rolling out to most people anyway. So no real need to run the beta app. Facebook Messenger Beta for Windows 10 Mobile hits the Store and is available (for most) | Windows Central

From what I undedrstood, the article was about the beta, not the non-beta app.
As for me, I can neither get the beta (region:US), or the update to the non-beta app you're talkin' about.

Another thing I want to say is that the new "Windows 10" version looks bad tbh. It really does. I've been using it on my PC, and some elements are so out of place, I can't get over it.

It didn't work for UK region aswell, works for Germany though and it really is a proper full feature Messenger app now

I opened the app literally twice since i downloaded it just to see how it looked like, didn't even start a conversation with anyone. It was already 152mb after installation. Why are these facebook apps so big ? Is it because they're ports ?

Well for context, Messenger on my iPhone is 134 MB. About half of which is "Documents and Data."

Facebook apps were never really the epitome of efficiency I think.

Android is 148... plus windows you can store on SD , well same as Android so no drama!
