Metro IE on a laptop as default

I'm using a laptop, but would like to stick with the Metro version of IE. Is there some easy way to do this, given the fact that there's only one program called "Internet Explorer" in the choices.

Any help would be appreciated.

When I click a link in my email, for example, it opens in the desktop. I don't want it to open Desktop IE, I want it to open Metro IE.

I recently changed it from desktop first to start screen first. After all, I intend to see if I can live almost completely in Metro without a touch screen.

Don't have mine in front of me, but I think that while you're in the desktop browser you need to go into the settings and set the Metro one as the default.
