Hi my 640 xl LTE came today from alza shop cz republic. But its got a 2 pin plug so can I convert it to a 3 pin UK plug or should I use auk charger for a Samsung instead ????

Thanks all x. ✌

Using the factory delivered chargers is the advice way to charge. But I would not cut the cable but use an extension to convert the charger. In this case you still can send "everything" back if needed.
But basically a charger is a charger and if needed you can use the Samsung charger.

I got my 640xl Dual Sim LTE one yesterday. Coming from Xperia Z3 Dual sim and before that the OnePlusOne. So far so good, I like WP OS . The phone is ok, it does have a mid level display and the plastic back looks and feels cheap but when it's on the phone, the phone does not feel bad. Compared to the OnePlusOne, the 640XL is a little disappointing. But the new OnePlus phone looks like it may be in the $400 range so the OnePlusOne price of less than $300 appears to be not sustainable.

My biggest gripe with the 640XL DS LTE is that Internet Sharing is blocked and I get the call ATT thing. I was hoping being an international phone I would not get that. My OPO and Z3 gave me tethering out of the box on ATT. Anyone know how to block the tethering check?

The dual sim seems to work well, currently have an ipad sim in one slot and Lycamobile in the other. I love the extra band coverage this one has. It's coverage is the main reason why I decided to buy it.

Over all I like the phone. I think the 640 DS LTE is probably the better deal and I should have gone with it.

By the way, glossy white back. I was hoping for matte white, I ordered before I saw the complaints of Glossy White backs.

Seems kind of obvious that the 640 XL would be a let down compared to the OnePlus One, which has much better specs. What were you expecting?

P.S. Seems everyone is getting the glossy white. I'll wait another week or two and see if the phone gets released in the U.S. and see if matte white is available. I will not buy glossy. If the 640 XL is not released here by the end of May, I'm going with the Asus Zenfone 2 or new Note 3 or LG G2 or G3. I'm getting real tired of waiting to try a Windows phone/phablet and deals on the aforementioned phones are aplenty.
