Windows Central Question

Ok I have looked on iFixit and found nothing on the MS Band 2. I really like the design BUT why that huge sensor or is it the battery on the inner part of the clasp? If its the battery then there is no way of removing that thing. But if its some kind of sensor then is there a way of removing it and minimizing the size of this thing? That is the only thing holding me back from buying one. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THNX!!

Ok that would be the GSR sensor (galvanic skin response sensor) and lets see if anyone can answer your question, I would also like to know if this sensor can be removed. I tried the band 2 on at best buy and it did seem a little bulky to me.

I found a diagram of the actual band and where all the sensors are and what I am looking to see if it can be removed is the GSR sensor. My question is if removed will it effect the bands functionality overall or will it just remove the GSR functionality??

That's understandable however wut if that sensor is simply like an addition to the overall function of the band itself. U know like maybe an upgraded video card on a PC. I guess we r gonna have to wait until someone literally disassembles one. Again that's the only thing holding me back from buying one.
