Microsoft's gaming operation grew by a whopping 61% last quarter, largely on the back of Activision Blizzard and services, rather than hardware. What does that mean for traditional Xbox platforms? It seems Microsoft isn't done yet.

this will not work long term. Microsoft is trying to create a market that does not exist.

People that play games on phones or tablets hate Microsoft and will never be on Microsoft ecosystem no matter what games it buys. People that travel have a steam deck or Switch. Microsoft will never be a real player in the portable market.
If customers don't buy your hardware it doesn't matter how many screens you put it on, its still not a long term viable business plan.

Microsoft builds garbage hardware. Their software is a malware mess.

If Microsoft keeps releasing broken, unfinished, boring, games its days as a publisher will come to a swift and dramatic end just like its hardware division.

Microsoft will screw up being a game publisher, just look at the state of games they're currently releasing. Absolute garbage games.
