Microsoft has finally fixed the issue that was causing desktop icons to move sporadically and jump between displays on Windows 11. It occurred when users with a multimonitor configuration tried to use Copilot on Windows, which prompted the company to place a compatibility hold.

That was the main reason I don't use the Copilot app in Windows (but I do use it in Edge for searching all the time). Does this only fix the icon jumping, or can other windows overlap Copilot now?

As soon as Copilot can function like a window (so above or below other windows) and not as a giant, mega-taskbar on the right that moves icons and all other windows out of its way, I'll start using it. But as long as it's going to permanently eat-up 10%+ of my screen, I'll leave it turned off.
