Microsoft services through VPN

This post is some kind of survey.

Shortened explanations : basicly, you used to wander the interwebs through a VPN. Did you lost your connexion to MS Services recently ?

My specific case :
I was born in Xland, I now work in Yland. I went out to buy my 1520 in Zland. I paid with Paypal. Next year I'll be sent in P?taouschn?k. Then on Mars, maybe ?
Turning on my WP8 for the first time, it connected smoothly to my Outlook.com account, which was in some cloud above my head, I believe.

I used to access my cloud through a VPN. This was relevant to my liberty, security, privacy and convenience policies. I know I could have been asked to sit on some, but no one ever did.

I never saw any ladder, nor any beanstalk from my laptop or my phone to my cloud, but everything worked perfecly and synced just like in a dream. Until 2 days ago.

Now, the one and only services that are unreachable through my VPN are MS related : OneDrive, OneNote don't sync anymore my laptop and mobile, I can't access Outlook.com, neither Bing search through my VPN.
My browser gets stuck on a blank page.

As soon as I shut down my VPN, I get MS services back online, and I have half my datas back. You understand the other half is out of reach.

You already know I'm upset, so I won't go on a rant in this post, this is not my point. I want to know if I'm the only one with this problem.

I'd like to be the only one, for I could fix it.

When you use VPN, all traffics are routed through that private network you are connected to. So, you are at the mercy of the VPN firewall on that private network to allow or block certain traffic.

For example, I work at home. When I connected through VPN to my work place, all traffic are regulated by the firewall of my workplace. I can no longer visit certain sites. Check private emails etc.

So, you need to check with your VPN admin.
