Microsoft shows WP8.1 in apps section

While searching apps in Windows Phone official website

Microsoft unveils that apps works with section i every apps.

Not first time I think .... They showed same last Friday and sometime last week as well.

I saw it too, but does that mean that developers currently installed 8.1 and their apps worked on it????

Microsoft tested the apps under 8.1 and certified them for use on 8.1. Developers haven't had to do anything to get 8.1 to show up as a supported platform.
