Microsoft Video app is extremely slow

The latest update has made the video app extremely slow in loading videos list. I really hate this app.

I just came here to post the exactly same thing. The app is frustrating slow. On startup it says "Loading..." and continues for some considerable amount of time - more than a minute! - before showing the videos.

I am not speaking for the poster of the question but he may resonate with my idea. I just need a solution that came with the OS - out of the box and with less bells and whistles - an app that just works.
