Microsoft's Windows dark mode has been embarrassingly incomplete for nearly a decade

I almost feel like Microsoft just won't complete the UI of Windows. And the author has a point. I still don't understand why Microsoft so focus on just adding more features when I wish they just take a whole year or two to get the UI of Windows done right more so on the dark mode.

Anyone that still does Windows native development is painfully aware of how resource starved the teams are, basic UWP features are still years away on the WinUI 3.0 roadmap, if they ever land.

Nowadays it is basically the less painfull desktop OS we have for PCs without having to install an OS ourselves, and that is about it.

There is hardly any Windows 11 feature that will make most people, including developers, reach out for Windows on purpose, other than games on Steam and existing native applications.

I stopped the dark mode of Windows 11. Too imperfect and really useless. Finding yourself with clear windows that happen suddenly as soon as an error, attention, or just to empty your basket appear is more than unpleasant.

Windows 11 is an OS in a paid beta version, it is unfortunately for users to pay the broken pots of this OS. A scandal!
