Migrating from Lumia 720

Hello,

My wife moved from a Lumia 720 to a Lumia 650. Even though she had selected the option for SMSs to be backed up (on her old phone), they did not appear on the new phone.

What have we done wrong?

When did she choose the option for the backup? From what I remember (someone can correct me if I'm wrong), after you choose the option, you would need to do an actual backup in order for them to appear. Also, SMS backup takes time, especially if you have a lot of texts. In some cases, it can take days.
