Miracast is awesome with surface 2

Thx fort your advise. I tried to change the resolution but I have only two possibilities from which one has only 720pixels height... with that setting no apps are opening because its too small - really weird. I can't believe that my TV which has HDMI port can't display any higher resolution

It could be your TV then. Having HDMI doesn't mean it supports 1080P

Dumb question maybe but does the Xbox 360 have a Miracast receiver?

I don't think so but it works as a DLNA receiver as far as I know.

I use the DLNA with Windows Media Center. Wanted to see if I could play to the TV via my Surface 2.

You should be able to do it if your TV supports DLNA/ or you "play to" your Xbox 360.

I knew about play to. Just wanted to try Miracast.

No, Xbox 360 doesn't support miracast.. Xbox one may do it in the future (I hope)

Used play to via my surface 2 and it works great except for buffering is slow, skipping videos is problematic and the aspect ratio on my tv isn't right,I expect that's my tvs problem.
