mircro soft edge brower won't close

When I open edge I can get what I want but then I can't get it to close unless I use task manager using ctl alt delete to bring up the task manager and end the task

what OS version do you have? Have you tried checking for OS updates?

I have this same problem in Anniv. I did an update and it fixes the issue
