Moisure easily gets under Camera Lens Cover

So my phone was in my coat pocket during a rain storm today and something odd happened. None of the water indicators went off on the phone (battery or phone itself) however moisure is now trapped underneath the camera lens cover. From what I can gather, since the camera lens cover doesn't cover the flash also, moisture was able to seep in the lens cover and now is stuck underneath the lens cover.

My phone is now sitting in a bowl of rice to get the moisture out however, the problem is once the phone is dry...how do I get the lens clean enough to take clear pictures?

Try putting it inside a ziplock bag full of rice instead of a bowl and seal it.
