More Microsoft Rebranding on the Way?

I don't think "Office web apps" into "Officer Online" is the same level of rebranding as Skydrive to Onedrive, though, but maybe that's just me :P

I understand the need for rebranding when there are trademark infringements. However, I think one thing that has hurt Microsoft over the years is rebranding its products so often that people cannot keep track of what they're called.

MSN Messenger>Windows Live Messenger>Skype

It seems like Microsoft cannot just pick product names it likes and stay with those names.

I agree with you 100% and you have given some very good examples.
