Movies on surface

Hello,

I'm trying to put some movies on my surface pro 3 but I dont have any software to rip the movie from my DVD.
What software are you guys using that works well?

You can usually copy the files that are on the dvd and use vlc player to watch them - no converting necessary - though I don't know which format your movies come in - this works for me
