Moving from Symbian to WP 8

Hi All,

I m a long time Symbian user. My last two phone in order Nokia E71 and Nokia 6230i. I am using Nokia E71 for more than 3 years now. I have used BB/Android but they have been just calling devices so far. What is the best way to port my contacts and notes from Nokia E71 and HTC 8x?

From E71 AND HTC 8X? or From E71 "to" HTC 8x?

Either way, sync them to Windows Live/Microsoft account/Outlook - and log in to your phone using the same ID, it will automatically sync back.

I suppose the contact transfer is a Nokia exclusive feature. The Lumia 920 made it very easy.

You can do that by using Nokia Suite, then choose to transfer things to windows phone (or upload to SkyDrive, I don't remember but there was an option to make a back up) and that's it. I moved from Symbian to 8X, as well.
