MP3 Tag for Album Year

Does anyone know what mp3 tag is read on a song to display the album year in the player? It is not the IDv1 tag for year or the ID3v2 tag for original release year, TORY

Here's a list of ID3 tag support from msdn. Supposedly they are using version 2.3. ID3 Tag Support (Windows)

Thank you, I'll go through that and see if I can get the yeat to show with the correct tag. I never would have found that reference.
