Multi tab browsing on lumia 520

Hi everyone i am new here. Let me get straight to the point. I really cannot do multi tab browsing in internet explorer. What i mean is lets say i opened wpcentral in the IE and say i opened a new tab with some other site, then if i switch back to first tab the page reloads. I mean this kinda makes whole multi tab browsing pointless. Is this a problem? Is this problem fixed in WP8.1?? Thanks in advance :smile:

No this not the fault of the Operating System. This is basically happening because your phone has low amount of memory 512MB of Ram. As the WP central website is quite heavy so it gets closed whenever a new task is opened to save memory. Hope this helps.

Yeah that's what i thought..too bad my old nokia 5230 didn't have this problem.

exactly. i wish the tabs open more smoothly, because UCBrowser milti-tabs works fine. No need for it to reload. Its just the Internet Explorer that can't hold the page data for ling. Not even multitabs, if you minimize to pick play a game or open another app, when you open Internet explorer back, it still needs to reload.
